yo, wtf, dude, you should stop hanging out with them and get some actual friends. it's not like they flow the same way that you do and it actually might hurt you. maybe try to confront them and ask if they were serious about them. if they actually acknowledged your state and kept on pushing then it's a red flag. try thinking about what they've done good for you.
